COB Studio Light Manufacturing: Build Quality You Can See
COB studio lights are high-power continuous lighting, and long-term stable performance starts on the production bench. Many importers focus only on specs like wattage and CRI, but the internal soldering and assembly work directly decides failure rates in the field.
Poor solder joints are a common hidden cause: intermittent power cut, overheating, or lights stopping working after weeks of continuous live streaming.
This workshop photo shows our technician soldering the internal circuit board of a COB light. Every solder point is carefully made to secure power connections between the COB chip, driver board and wiring harness. We follow consistent assembly steps, not quick, sloppy hand work.
For bulk buyers, consistent workmanship matters greatly. If solder joints are inconsistent from unit to unit, you will get random faulty goods mixed in shipments. Those defects lead to returns, refunds and bad reviews from your resale customers.
We inspect circuit connections after soldering before moving the lights to the next production stage. This early check helps catch weak connections before fixtures go into full assembly and aging testing.
Great lighting specs look good on a datasheet, but solid internal build is what keeps your customers happy long after they receive the goods.
